Sorry on this page I noticed this : " Xavier López Rodríguez sins porn February 17, 1935 (age ∞) years light. managua, nicaragua Nationality Mexican"

If he was born on Illinois this makes him American- or Mexican- American right? Mhemhemhez (talk) 23:26, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If he was born outside Mexico but their parents register him in a Mexican embassy he could retain the mexican nationality according to law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.99.166.84 (talk) 22:46, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This pages is not accurate it is full of information that refer to jokes and not actual data. Abstain from using it for any project. I recomend for this page to be locked JPCV88 (talk) 13:44, 22 March 2013 (UTC)JP[reply]

Edit request on 22 March 2013[edit]

This article should be taken down as it still has invalid information that does not match Chabelo biography. He was born in 1935 so he could not be part of the mexican revolution (ended in 1920) or write the constitution (1917) this are jokes aiming to make fun of the advance age of Chabelo and his long running career.

There is absolutely zero justification for deleting this article. Vandalism is dealt with by reverting or deleting the content in question. In this case, not long after you made this request administrator Reaper Eternal (talk · contribs) went through the article and manually removed a significant amount of vandalism. If there is still vandalism/false information please identify specific text and reopen this request. —KuyaBriBriTalk 17:32, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article continues to be false almost entirely, on his artistic career it says Chabelo worked on the Flatiron Building, this is imposible not only because chabelo was not a construction worker and never was but also because this building finished in 1902 way before chabelo was born. Also the section "Other Shows" is citing titles of movies that are not on the source and are also vandalism (Autopsia de un Fantasma and most recently Chabelo el inmortal en apuros). I think this article does not posses enough valid information to be online, it should be deleted. JPCV88 (talk) 20:56, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

An article on a notable subject will not be deleted solely on the basis that there is problematic/unverifiable information on it. For what it's worth, click here to read Wikipedia's policy on deleting articles.
I removed the statement about the Flatiron Building as I interpret your comment above as a good-faith challenge to uncited information on a living person. I looked over Chabelo's IMDb page and the source on the article and verified that he did have a film called Autopsia de un Fantasma but not Chabelo el inmortal en apuros. I removed that entire sentence because removing solely Chabelo el inmortal would have left the sentence awkward.
I recommend you take this up with the Biographies of living persons noticeboard, as I don't have all the time or know-how to give this article a good scrub. However, my offer above to remove any additional specific false/unverifiable information on this article also still stands. If I do get some time I'll try and scrub what I can. —KuyaBriBriTalk 22:12, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Citizenship[edit]

Anyone know why this article is in Category:People who lost United States citizenship? I don't see any discussion of this in the article, nor can I find any evidence in a (somewhat cursory) Google search that he gave up citizenship. Thanks, quant18 (talk) 17:46, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

After some digging, it seems this was added by User:Rudwolf in this edit, citing [1]. However, the source cited does not contain any statement whatsoever that he lost U.S. citizenship. It simply states that he had U.S. citizenship during the Korean War, with no indication of what happened to his U.S. citizenship after that. So there is no actual WP:RS supporting the inclusion in the category.
Even if we go off into WP:OR land, there's no support either. I presume the contention would be that he lost citizenship under § 350 of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. (§ 402 of the Nationality Act of 1940 [2], which was even stricter, would not apply since he was not yet 18 years old when the 1952 Act repealed it). However, that section was repealed by Public Law 95–432 in 1978.
If the U.S. State Department had ever explicitly issued Chabelo with a finding of loss of nationality under that section, he could challenge it and have it overturned as a matter of course, in which case he'd be treated under U.S. law as though he'd never lost citizenship. If he had never been explicitly issued with a finding of loss of nationality, he could simply show up at a U.S. consulate with his U.S. birth certificate and apply for a passport, or he could apply for a backdated Certificate of Loss of Nationality instead if he didn't want to be a U.S. citizen (a good idea, for example, because the U.S. is the only country in the world which would demand he pay back taxes on the income he earned while living abroad). But with no WP:RS verification either way I don't think this article belongs in the category. quant18 (talk) 05:23, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A little known fact is that Chabelo is indeed an immortal being. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.245.136.183 (talk) 07:44, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He was born in Leon, Guanajuato, not Chicago, Illinois, USA. Bryan6260 (talk) 21:12, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Source for that claim? The infobox birthplace of Chicago is sourced. You need to provide something to contradict that Cannolis (talk) 22:23, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Change "is" to "was". Fetrovsky (talk) 16:00, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question: Which "is" you want to change? There are a lot of "is" in this article, you need to be more specific. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 16:21, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I suspect they are referring to it is a show with games, but that's just a guess. M.Bitton (talk) 17:15, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 17:12, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
