Chael Sonnen drug use history in opening paragraph[edit]

Chael fights for titles 3 times against 2 of the most dominant champions in MMA history, and thats not more important than a couple failed drug tests out of competition? There are plenty of fighters and athletes in all sports who have failed drug tests, yet thats not seen as defining their careers. Chael is a great personality, and the HIGHEST SELLING PPV fighters OF ALL TIME. his charisma, personality, world class fighting caliber, and polarizing personality are more relevent to Chael Sonnen than failed drug tests. Birth place[edit]

This is not unusual with celebrities, whose birth dates and birthplaces might be different in different sources. Often, as with Alec Baldwin, people are born in one place and raised in another, and bios list where they were raised as their birthplace.

Here, the UFC says one birthplace, ESPN says another. Both are equally reliable sources, neither one more so than the other. It's POV to choose one or the other, so in cases like this, we give both until and unless something definitive arrives, such as Sonnen stating himself where he was born.
