Village[edit]

Chagrin Falls is a village. There may be a stub of unincorporated township remaining (perhaps consisting of the Metroparks), but the village is a real entity with more significance than the township. older ≠ wiser 22:28, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pumpkin Roll?[edit]

There appears to be an article out there about a pumpkin roll that occurs in Chagrin Falls. Shouldn't that be merged into this article, seeing as how it's probably not important enough to have it's own article?Fisheromen 03:08, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Watterson[edit]

I believe that Bill Watterson, ( a reclusive but long time resident), has moved from Chagrin Falls to Cleveland Heights, OH. Perhaps someone who currently lives in CF could verify this.

Chagrin is indeed pronounced shuh-GRIN, and according to the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History, the village is at a waterfall on the Chagrin River, so I assume that's where the name came from. The river was originally named the Elk River, but was in turn, named after a French explorer, Sieur de Saguin. Saguin was eventually transformed into Chagrin.[1] --Confiteordeo 03:13, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
