Chairmen of Committees post 1984[edit]

I've added a list of Chairmen of Committees to this article, but my reference book was written in 1984. So I enquired with the parliamentary library about the remaining years. The answer arrived within hours; great service!

Chairmen of Committees
  • John James Terris (17 August 1984 – 10 September 1990)
  • Richard James Gerard (29 November 1990 – 10 November 1992)
The Title of Deputy Speaker replaced the old title of Chairman of Committees.
Deputy Speakers
  • Richard James Gerard (10 November 1992 – 13 December 1996)
  • Ian Murray Revell (13 December 1996 – 18 February 1999)
  • Geoffrey Bernard Braybrooke (17 March 1999 – 18 June 2002)
  • Margaret Ann Hartley (27 August 2002 – 11 August 2005)
  • Clem Rudolph Simich (7 November 2005 – 8 November 2008)
  • William Lindsay Tisch (8 November 2008 – 21 December 2011)
  • Eric Wilbur Roy (21 December 2011 – present)

Thanks to the rather helpful team at the parliamentary library. Schwede66 08:23, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
