Changing Congress with Campaign Finance Reform is a project long overdue. Transparency and accountability are necessary factors in that change. I do not understand, however, how maintaining a two party system (the means by which Congress has attained and sustained its gross corruption) facilitates that change.Candidates should be sought for their individual qualifications and dedication to the peoples of their districts; and not to the selfserving policies of the entrenched bi-partisan system. Change Congress by taking the control away from any one entity and putting it in the hands of the people who elect their representatives. Retmileo (talk) 12:09, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Retmileo- this is a forum for discussion of the article in the context of how to change it, edit it, make it better, and so on. If you would like to debate the merits and flaws in the Change Congress organisation's efforts, a different venue will be needed. Personally speaking, I agree with your rhetoric, but I know that the Wikipedia admins will stomp on us if we use this area for the sort of discussion that you are initiating here. 65.189.146.128 (talk) 23:37, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've set up a user box for anyone interested in showing their support for Change Congress on their user page. It can be found at User:Afamiglietti/Supports_Change_Congress --afamiglietti (talk) 15:08, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki aspect[edit]

"In April, the project will launch a "Wikipedia-inspired" wiki where organizers will track reform-related positions of candidates who have not yet taken pledges" [1]. I've been trying to find their wiki but so far I've failed. This project is supposed to be "wiki inspired". Well... where's the wiki? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 03:04, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
