"History"[edit]

Is there any fact to this politically-correct gobble-de-gook here? Exactly how you could posit this as 'history' rather than supposed theories and so forth, exactly what 25 tribes, trading dust and shells and we're to term this as a "vast trade network" - This is offensive to anyone with half a brain and the least lick of common sense - How about the fact that Birdsville was only founded as a border crossing before federation, where the colonial governments would press tolls and excise taxes onto the stockmen and cowboys driving the herds south or north. - That is established history. - How about the fact that this is still done today to a greater or lesser extent? How about a short history of the few towns? - Jundah, Stonehenge, Windorah, Quilpie, Birdsville, etc.

That is history - 'This', what we have written, is sentimental, political rubbish, go have yourself a smoking ceremony and burn yourself good.
