Philip Glass as co-composer?[edit]

I'm looking at the soundtrack album before me and see no mention whatsoever of a Philip Glass (or Phil Glass, as IMDB claims he was credited), and much talk in the inside flap (let alone the huge cover credit) about Ravi Shankar, including the line "Original music composed and directed by Ravi Shankar." IMDB just lists Glass as "music supervisor", whatever that means. Perhaps Glass was the guy that was transcribing melodies as Shankar hummed them? There was such a guy mentioned in the inside flap text, but not by name. But the text of this wikipedia entry currently implies that Glass had a composing role, whereas the soundtrack album makes no such implication. Or perhaps there is music by Glass in the film that's not included in the soundtrack? OmarGosh (talk) 02:57, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
