merovingian category?[edit]

Possible birthdate and relation to Robert of Hesbaye[edit]

On http://familypedia.com, I found someone named Charibert(570-636), 7th grandfather of Robert of Hesbaye. And Charibert was born in the year 570. Could THIS Charibert be the Charibert in THIS article? (talk) 8:51, 1 September 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.242.57.48 (talk)

Image authenticity[edit]

While I do not think the above deletion request is valid on copyright grounds, I have an editorial concern about this image. It seems that it was intended by its 19th century artist to represent Charles the Bald (see File:Steuben - Charles the Bald.jpg) and not Charibert of Laon. While the artist obviously never saw either man, can anyone explain to me why this image claims to be illustrating Charibert of Laon? In other words, why the seemingly incorrect caption?
