Does this really deserve its own article? Perhaps it should just be mentioned at the Charing Cross article. J Milburn 04:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As soon as I saw this article, I thought the same thing. Looking on the Charing Cross railway station article, most of the info is already included. Nobody else seems to have had any opinion on this! KlickingKarl (talk) 12:21, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's just someone set up articles for everything in List of rail accidents in the United Kingdom no matter how much reference material is available. On the other hand, this article could be expanded somewhat - it made it into the New York Times (PDF) for instance. So I'd say it's not a no-brainer merger, I'd be open to keeping it if people can find enough detail on the collapse, but I'll tag it anyway to try and get more views.
