Surname[edit]

Interesting that she has a very common Portuguese surname - Carvalho. She's descendent of Portuguese, probably Sephardy Jews. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.21.177.217 (talk) 11:10, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all! "She" (Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken) has her name from her husband, Michel de Carvalho (* Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire 21.07.1944), one of London's best-known investment banker (vicepresident of Citigroup bank, vice chairman at Salomon SB.) . His father was Brazilian and his mother English. You may want to read this http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0712935/bio and http://www.cicero.de/97.php?ress_id=9&item=2734:

Michel Ray[edit]

Why does Michel Ray, an Anglo-Brazilian child actor who appeared in, among other films, the epic Lawrence of Arabia, not have his own page? Why does he redirect into the Wikipedia page about his wife? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.184.8 (talk) 12:35, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly lack of individual notability? But the re-direct became a BLP page on 28 June 2014. See Michel de Carvalho. His greater claim to fame may be as a Winter Olympics team member for Great Britain on three occasions. 220 of Borg 13:57, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
