Untitled[edit]

This page, recently created, reads like a PR blurb derived from the bio on a company website. It is, in fact, derived from the bio posted on the website of the company of which the subject is president. This strongly suggests that it lacks NPOV and may not be a notable subject. This page contains factual information about someone who created history with respect to the Jim Henson Company (which is a company known worldwide). It uses several sources, such as IMDB, the company website, as well as the Muppet Wiki. Subject executive produces a show that was just featured in the NY Times 4/28/08 as well as featured many times over in other sources (i.e. Time Magazine). Subject is notable for contributions to the entertainment industry and business communities, similarly parallels other executives' profiles on Wikipedia, and contains facts. Subject is extremely well-known in the entertainment industry. Thanks!! Christiec11 (talk) 00:19, 29 April 2008 (UTC)ChristieChristiec11 (talk) 00:19, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Much of this article is copied word for word from the New York Times article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.148.90.99 (talk) 17:54, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted to previous version on October 2, 2011. The previous version had plenty of new good information and was cited and linked to outside 3rd party validating websites. Unsure what the "bad edits" referred to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.166.16 (talk) 16:50, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per advice from the Wikimedia Support Team, I edited the page to provide additional examples of meetings chaired by Charles Rivkin as Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs. I also provided additional context to a January 2013 statement he made, which is one of hundreds of routine public statements he made as Ambassador to France. Ethnicity[edit]

I included his ethnicity (Russian Jewish) in the early life section. The source is the Los Angeles Times. I also indicated that he married in an interfiath ceremony. the source is the New York Times.Patapsco913 (talk)
