The Ottoman sultan in 1699 was Mustafa II (1695-1703). Ahmet III (1703-1730) reigned later. Thus the image caption must be revised. Either the date or the name of the sultan must be changed. I'll call the editor. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 11:39, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- No response to my earlier remark. So I made the nacessary changes. The painting was created in 1724 and according to caption of the painting, the sultan in the image is Ahmet III. Charles de Ferriol stayed in İstanbul between 1699-1711. Ahmet II reigned after 1703. So the painting shows a reception between 1703-1711. I cleared the date and Charles' age during the reception (He was certainly older than 47.) Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 06:35, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
