Charlotte MailliardCharlotte Mailliard Shultz – The three-name version of her name is the most common usage these days. Relisted again. Chamal TC 04:26, 1 May 2013 (UTC) |relisted Tiggerjay (talk) 05:50, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Knockatock (talk) 21:48, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. She first gained fame as Charlotte Maillard, then further fame as Maillard-Swig, then yet further fame as Maillard-Schultz. However, in all these phases of her life she used the name Maillard alone or in combination. Maillard is the common element of all three. Binksternet (talk) 22:03, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Mailliard is a woman of many names, but she has been married to George Shultz for 16 years, and it does seem that when she is active in her professional capacity she is usually referred to with a name ending in 'Shultz.' For example, see the announcement that she would take a protocol role under Gov. Schwarzenegger, where her name is given as Charlotte Mailliard Shultz. Currently she has a job with the Mayor's office. She is mentioned in that announcement as "San Francisco Chief of Protocol Charlotte Shultz..". EdJohnston (talk) 02:58, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Self-promotion?[edit]

As with the entry for Diane Buchanan Wilsey, this seems horribly self-promoting in its tone. It could have been written (was it?) by one of the hacks at the Nob Hill Gazette. I live in SF, and am a 4th-generation Californian who travels in the circle. Don't these stuffed birds have enough platforms for their egos? George Shultz and Mel Swig are people of accomplishment. What has this person actually done, apart from marrying well? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andarin (talkcontribs) 00:30, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong name[edit]

There's no such thing as "University of Arkansas-Fayetteville". Fayetteville has only one campus of the University of Arkansas, and that campus is called "the University of Arkansas" or "the University of Arkansas Period" or "the University of Arkansas Period You Screeching Baboon". If you need to be differentiate it from other campuses in the state you can say "the principal [or headquarters, or main, or first, or original, or founding, or 'pre-expansion', or most important, or largest] campus of the University of Arkansas, that being the one in Fayetteville". The Fayetteville campus is NOT a "branch" of the University of Arkansas as is implied by "University of Arkansas-Fayetteville" All OTHER campuses of the University of Arkansas are "branches".Christopher L.
