40 ingredients, bananas[edit]

I can see that the forty ingredients - forty years recipe/story has already been tagged "dubious", and I'd like to add my own puzzled question: what was the 40th ingredient before bananas were introduced?? Emika22 (talk) 17:34, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Leftovers[edit]

Purim is 30 days BEFORE passover, so leftovers for humnasheen 11 months later isn't logical nor in my experience something that exists.Aviwollman (talk) 09:11, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ginger[edit]

While not in Song of Songs, grated ginger is specifically mentioned to be added. to enhance the resemblance to mortar made with straw. https://cdn.fedweb.org/fed-90/2/5778%2520%25202018%2520%2520%2520PASSOVER%2520%2520Haroset%2520%2520workshop%2520%2520%2520%2520new%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%25203.pdf

https://aish.com/48960481/ Ginger is one of the more common ingredients, globally. (Present in nearly every major tradition mentioned, and amazingly, currently absent from the page entire.) Drsruli (talk) 22:23, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
