ISO 4 abbreviation[edit]

Shouldn't the ISO 4 abbreviation be Chem Commun instead of ChemComm? I know that the RSC likes to use ChemComm but citations usually use Chem Commun and the linked online search lists commun as abbreviation as well. So what's the correct one? Brisbane (talk) 15:40, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, the correct ISO 4 for Chemical Communication is Chem. Commun. - ChemComm is a preferred abbreviation but the journal but that's irrelevant to ISO 4. Similar to Chem Soc Rev (which is how RSC calls the journal...without the dots), the actual name is Chemical Society Reviews. Nobody has the issue with that one. ChemComm should be treated the same.
