Importance to chemical engineering[edit]

Perhaps the importance of this article should even be "Top" for Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemical and Bio Engineering and be one of the Chemical engineering Core articles.

This article topic is pretty much pure chemical engineering. As stated above, I gave this article "Top" importance for Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemical and Bio Engineering and made it one of the Core articles in Chemical engineering in this WikiProject, replacing Nanotechnology. I did not find chemical engineering mentioned in the Nanotechnology article, nor in either its Infobox or Navbox templates, nor is Category:Chemical engineering included in its categories, nor does its Talk page have a WikiProject Chemical and Bio Engineering banner. Furthermore in neither my chemical engineering education nor professional experience, was there much nanotechnology (at all) involved. However, it's obvious that chemical reaction engineering is a key branch of chemical engineering. H Padleckas (talk) 05:27, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
