Academic Standing[edit]

The statement in this section, "Cherry Hill Seminary has been granted an official exemption from South Carolina requirements for educational institutions..." has been tagged for citation. Although the following does not qualify as such, I am adding it in this discussion to provide supporting documents for the process, if not the claim of official exemption. The State of South Carolina does, in fact, provide exemptions to the licensing requirement for religious institutions (see "Explanation of Exemption for Institutions Whose Sole Purpose is Religious or Theological Training" [1]. The PDF that can be found there references Code Section 59-58-30(4) Exclusions, and spells out precisely how one applies for one. Cherry Hill Seminary has stated[2] that they have applied for, and have been granted an exemption, but neither the state's website, nor Cherry Hill's, provide any support for the claim, yet. - Bobjameswi (talk) 21:06, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
