Neutrality[edit]

Special:Diff/1038346994 re-introduces promotional speech ("an innovative portfolio", "great commercial success"), an external link in the lead text, namedropping (and that's just "to name a few"!), unnecessary capitalization of "social impact producer" and "cultural leader" (what profession is this, even, though? Can't we find an actual independent description from secondary sources that is wikilinkable to an article about the job?) and a section dedicated to a list of film segments with excessive detail for a biography. I'd simply revert it on the fly without expecting it to require such a detailed explanation, but I have already attempted to fix these issues in Special:Diff/1038297890. As the onus to achieve consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content, I'll re-remove the content unless a consensus for its inclusion is found. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:42, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Some of it is a copy and paste from here. FDW777 (talk) 18:59, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Doing a web search, I find:
  • Tilesi's bio on l-nutra.com (about self type content) says "Italian film producer with a philanthropic outlook".[1]
  • Deadline says "founder and President of We Do It Together"
  • Rolling Stone says "We Do It Together founder and board member"
  • Variety says "producer"
  • The Grio says "Producer Chiara Tilesi, founder of We Do It Together"
  • The Guardian says "founder and board member of We Do It Together"
Looks like "social impact" should be removed from lead. Also, per World Economic Forum, she was a panelist; the bulk of that para is unsourced puffery and name-dropping. Schazjmd (talk) 19:06, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(adding) I was just looking for how reliable sources describe Tilesi, and I posted it before I saw the notability tag had been added. I don't think any of the sources I found contribute to notability, they're brief mentions. Schazjmd (talk) 19:12, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

~ ToBeFree - amazing that you did some research - please do a little more: If you do, you will discover that 'Tell It Like A Woman' was produced by We Do It Together which is a non-profit film production company. Please ALWAYS do research before taking content down.

Please REWRITE the content if you are not satisfied with it instead of jumping to conclusions. Here are the two projects that need to be added to Chiara's bio:

2019 -2021 'Tell It Like A Woman' film (nonprofit work with We Do It Together) March 4th, 2021 'One OF Us' (nonprofit work with We Do It Together in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, Frequency Production, Violetta Group, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles )

NONE of these films were made for profit.

I believe in the vision of We Do It Together - we NEED more women in front & behind the camera. Please check out the company for yourself and write the article as you see fit. Here is their website: https://www.wedoittogether.org/

The BOARD OF DIRECTORS is made up of MANY people - not just Chiara & NONE of them are getting paid for it (again, non-profit).

Please rewrite the artile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EliRUSA (talkcontribs)

It doesn't appear that the other board members are paid, but as president, Tilesi's salary is $60,000.[2] Regardless, being a nonprofit doesn't have anything to do with notability Do you have any independent references that take notice of Tell It Like a Woman or One of Us? If you post them here, we can use them to add to the article. Schazjmd (talk) 00:54, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
