Christopher White Performance Activities Director Chicago College of Performing Arts

Proposed Merger[edit]

Merge Since this is just one of the schools within Roosevelt University, I don't think it should have an independent page. All of the information could be used for either a new section or expanded information on the main Roosevelt University page. 129.105.23.48 (talk) 19:29, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Violation? NPOV needed[edit]

This looks like it was copied from a website or brochure, but the above comments shows it was written by the same author. Regardless, it needs to be cleaned up so it's doesn't have so much of a "recruitment" feel. --Twintone 01:43, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have updated the Temp Page to rid the page of the "recruitment" feel. Does this solve the problem? Sorry, this is my first time on Wikipedia. Sorry about the confusion. - Christopher White Is the CCPA one of the schools of Roosevelt University? --Twintone 17:40, 1 June 2006 (UTC) Yes, it is. Formerly known as Chicago Musical College.[reply]

Anyone got an update? Can we get this settled so that I can move forward with creating the page? -- Chris

Chicago College of Performing Arts is on the top floors of the historic Auditorium Building, designed by world-famous architects Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan. The building includes the 3,700-seat Auditorium Theatre, renowned for its beauty and exquisite acoustics. Located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Congress Parkway, this former hotel is now an integral part of the “educational corridor” of more than 65,000 students enrolled in various institutions in the famous downtown Loop.

Across the street are the flower gardens of Millennium Park, the magnificent Buckingham Fountain, and the sparkling beauty of Lake Michigan. A few minutes walk in either direction are many of the city’s major cultural institutions, including: Symphony Center, home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; the Lyric Opera of Chicago; the Jazz Showcase; the Goodman, Chicago, Oriental, and Cadillac theatres; the Art Institute, Field Museum of Natural History, and the “Magnificent Mile” of shops and galleries.

Now that the page is created...[edit]

This looks like it could be a nice little article. I'm going to work on cleaning it up from time to time for wiki standards.--Twintone 19:45, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
