Jingle

How can we go the whole page without mentioning their famous jingle? "Ask any Mermaid You Happen to See... What's the Best Tuna? Chicken of the Sea" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgmets5 (talkcontribs) 04:50, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

worlwide?

"international icon"? "known worlwide"? Who says it? (I mean, any references?) I'd never heard about it until now... --euyyn 16:00, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree . I grew up in the UK and Australia, and it has zero profile in both. How about "national icon" ... which I suspect is its best claim to fame. (203.26.177.2 04:25, 25 August 2006 (UTC))
well I changed with "widely known in the Americas", maybe US would have been better. I never heard of it in all over Europe and I've been living in quite a few of the sates there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.33.238.6 (talk) 17:43, 3 April 2007 (UTC).

Product Name

I heard once that the product was named through some kind of public contest... Has anyone else ever heard this?

Yes, my great-grandmother talked about this and claimed she submitted the winning entry FAHansson (talk) 20:27, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
