British rule?[edit]

To describe the period of the 12th Century until the early 20th as "British rule" is completely ahistorical. The Ireland =colony argument is extremely controversial and is disputed by most mainstream historians for the 19th and early 20th Century[1].

More neutral language should be used here. This is a reoccurring issue on Irish articles.Jonathan f1 (talk) 11:11, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
