Regional variances[edit]

Is anyone interested in establishing a table of the various requirements and powers by territory, state or country? One could be roughly established in this talk page. Alan.ca 10:16, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation[edit]

The article title is "Chief of police", yet at the beginning of the intro it's "Chief of Police". What should it be? -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 23:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

There are actually at least three articles on police chiefs: Chief of police, police commissioner and chief police officer. Chief constable arguably counts as well. I propose merging these into a single police chief article. Anywikiuser (talk) 14:48, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
