Medal prediction[edit]

China expected to win most medals? The source makes the same statement without saying any reason. In fact, all betting websites are indicating US to win the most. So please provide good reasoning or delete this line. --2.98.252.145 (talk) 22:44, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's worse than that because China didn't win the most medals at the 2008 Olympics either. They only won the most golds, but they were 10 medals behind the United States in the total standings. I'm deleting the line because it contains at least one factually false statement and one suspicious, unsourced surprising claim. 108.56.245.21 (talk) 15:07, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think this line should not be in the page at all. This guessing work has nothing to do with the final actual result. Ftj1357 (talk) 03:57, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Medalists table[edit]

I copied the code exactly from China's 2008 article, and it included a line to reduce the font size to 90 percent. Feel free to remove it, but it seems sensible given that they ought to win a frikkin haul at these Games as well (the same line of code should probably go on the table for USA, UK, and any other nations with especially large delegations).
