There is a problem in that 'Chinese alphabet' redirects to Chinese characters, but the latter are obviously not an alphabet. On the other hand, there are alphabetic scripts, both Roman and non, for writing Chinese. Basically, IF we choose to keep the 'Chinese alphabet' page so as to allow the totally clueless to get a result when they search for that, I feel it should be a disambiguation page and not a redirect. To that end I am changing the page, explaining that Chinese is not alphabetic, and providing links to Chinese characters, Chinese writing, Hanyu Pinyin and bopomofo.Dragonbones (talk) 05:52, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
