Chris-Craft/United Television

Prime Time Entertainment Network statement is correct back up by the documented PTEN article. In addition, there is discussion at my talk page regarding PTEN's status and at Rollosmokes's talk page: "Please stop removing edits with reason that don't directly apply when a change in term that most could agree with. You edited out statments about PTEN being an alternative programming that was a wantable network in Cris-Craft Industries's Television section and affiliate listing at PTEN's article." I am not the only one that disagrees with Rollosmokes as some else returned my addition at the PTEN article. See the PTEN discussion page. --Spshu 15:24, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Chriscraft-tv.jpg

Image:Chriscraft-tv.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

United Television

I think that the United Television section of Chris Craft should be split because if It's not here anymore, it should have a seperate article. I also agree about the PTEN article. I also think that the Former Chris Craft/United Television stations should go with it. Meteorman7228 (talk) 21:10, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

suggested that Chris-Craft be merged

Against. Chris-Craft Industries was NAFI corporation which held Chris-Craft Corporation (CCC), not the current Chris-Craft, Inc. Which is a new company that purchased the old CCC manufacturing plants then later the trademark. --Spshu (talk) 17:03, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Against: These are articles about different entities: Chris-Craft Boats (1874-1960) and Chris-Craft Industries (1928-2001). --FocalPoint (talk) 08:45, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
