Removal of copyvio/plagiarized content

In these edits I removed content submitted by Ginakafedjian because it was too close to content found at http://chrisbaldwin.eu/ and there was a copypaste template on the page. Copying content from another source represents a copyright violation at worst, and plagiarism at best. Even closely paraphrasing existing content is problematic. The remainder of the content was written in a tone that is unsuitable for an encyclopedia. Any analysis of Baldwin's work needs to come from reliable published sources that are independent of the subject. Ginakafedjian, if I were you, I'd first work at establishing a clear opening description of who the person is, what his nationality is, and what specific works he is known for. "Chris Baldwin is a <NATIONALITY> ___ director known for Work A, Work B, and Work C." It's also unclear what kind of director you mean. Film director? Stage director? Cartoon director?

You need to be sure that you are properly establishing the subject as notable. Read our general notability guideline, because this will explain what is required for any subject to be considered notable per Wikipedia's standards. For more specific notability criteria, see Wikipedia:Notability (people). If you fail to properly establish this subject's notability, the article will be at risk for deletion.

You should also see Referencing for Beginners, since references should be added "inline" directly after the content that they support. For example, at Dollar you will notice that little numbers appear at the ends of some sentences. That's because those references support the statements that come before them. Ginkafedjian, it's worth bearing in mind that Wikipedia has almost no interest in what Baldwin (or his relatives, friends, associates, agents, producers etc) says about himself, whether in interviews, press releases or his own website. Almost 100% of the article should be based on what people unconnected with him have published about him in reliable places (such as major newspapers, or books from reputable publishers). At present there is not a single independent source in the article.

If such independent sources do not exist, then it is impossible at present to write an acceptable article about him - in Wikipedia jargon, he is not "notable" (which does not mean that he is not important, just that there hasn't been writing about him).

The way to get the tags removed is to improve the article according to the policies and standards of Wikipedia - or to delete it if it turns out he is not notable. article move

I have reverted the article move. The name did not conform to our title guidelines for t least 2 reasons. Names should be as short as posibble. When disambiguation is needed, it should only be capitalized if the words are proper nouns. -- GB fan 13:27, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
