inconsistent predecessor[edit]

The Haywork Wiki sez A Republican, she was elected in 2010.

In 2012, Hayworth lost her reelection bid to former Clinton White House staff secretary Sean Patrick Maloney. In 2014, she lost a re-match with Maloney.

but on Gibson's you say

Gibson challenged Democratic incumbent Scott Murphy for the 20th Congressional district seat in the House of Representatives and won on November 4, 2010. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.111.194.14 (talk) 20:17, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously incorrect assertions!!!! easily researched.!!!! Col. Chris Gibson's predecessor in NY 19th CD was Maurice Hinchey , NOT Scott Murphy , who in the body of this article is correctly listed as Congressman from the 20th Congressional District. Col Chris Gibson ran the first time successfully against Dem Julian Schriebman - the 2nd time against Dem Sean Eldridge AND was Congressman for NY 19th Congressional District. With Gross errors like this I now have to seriously question EVERYTHING I read in WikiPedia that is political stuff. I have reviewed Physics and Math stuff and found it right on!
