Contributions to Pflug Article[edit]

Since I began my contributions I have included an info box complete with a cited photograph of the artist. I added more content about her early years and the beginning of her career in Toronto. Furthermore, I included the precise date and location of her death at Hanlan's point on Toronto Island. I also icluded sections titled "biography" "Career and Acheivements" and included all the content below the latter heading. Using two of the more prominent biographies about the artist helped to increase the credibility and relevancy of this article's content.

Help with editing Christiane Pflug artist page[edit]

Hi I am looking for some feedback on my edits to the artist bio page for Christiane Pflug. Any suggestions? Or tips for copyright issues to upload one of her works? Jacqbennett 01:20, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

  • Per Wikipedia:Non-free content you may be able to use "paintings and other works of visual art: For critical commentary" however this area is a difficult one (more so on-wiki than off) and it might be worth exploring more at the talk page there. • Hi Rick [[User talk:Rich Farmbrough|Farmbrough], I cannot find that page listed on wikipedia. Jacqbennett 15:36, 26 October 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacqbennett (talkcontribs)

  • @Jacqbennett: Responding to the RfC via bot: I think you need to frame the issue more clearly if you want input from outside editors. ScottyBerg (talk) 16:33, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Responding to the RfC: I am not sure what your specific question is.Coaster92 (talk) 04:05, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • One thing that jumped out at me is that I don't know what a "draughtswoman" is. Being that it's in the lead, and assuming it's worthy of being in the lead at all, I'd like to see some clarification (or at least a wikilink) in the body of the article. But other than that, overall the article looks pretty good at first glance :) Quinn BEAUTIFUL DAY 15:47, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Re: the RfC also, I have to agree with User:ScottyBerg- what exactly is the question? Aside from a little tweaking, I see a couple of issues. The article depends a lot on references that are either inaccessible online or questionable for use as citations. Additionally, it appears close to being listed as an orphan here (CAT:O) on the Wikipedia. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 11:10, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Be specific. You raised an RfC but it seems you simply need assistance with the article. If you have a specific issue on which there is disagreement, outline it clearly and ask your question. Cheers. -The Gnome (talk) 07:36, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
