Made numerous corrections[edit]

I made numerous corrections to the article, especially in the section on "West Area Computers". A previous editor was not clear mushed together material from the early history of this group, and Darden's experience and career at NASA. The article differentiated between them. Darden did not start at NASA until 1967, a generation after many African-American women mathematicians had been hired during the 1940s, and more than a decade after they started getting advancement into other jobs. In addition, she was hired after passage of federal civil rights legislation that ended segregation of public facilities.Parkwells (talk) 17:04, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete title of "Dr."[edit]

The title of "Dr." is not customarily used in the first sentence in these bio articles, neither for persons with PhDs nor for those holding medical degrees.Parkwells (talk) 17:06, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
