Covering Chromatics in Colour is like covering Meteorology in Cloud. That is why we need a separate wikipage. Www.wikinerds.org 19:54, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

But the article on colour says more about chromatics than did this article. If it gets to the point where there's too much information in Color, then it can be separated out, but why create informationless stubs when there's genuine information in the existing article? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:17, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

ChromaticsChromatics (band) – I request that the article Chromatics, concerning the band by that name, be renamed to Chromatics_(band). This is in preparation for my publishing a new article about the company Chromatics, a manufacturer of color graphics display computers. I would name that article Chromatics_(computer_manufacturer) and request that both be placed into the Chromatic disambiguation page. Rdb112 (talk) 17:48, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Kind oppose. I love the drive to write a new article--great job! Once you post it, we will change the top line of this article (or you can do it yourself) and it will contain a link to the article on the computer manufacturer (an article that mioght just do better at Chromatics (graphics), Chromatics (manufacturer), etc.), and then if we see that there's no primary topic, we can do a WP:RM again. But right now we can't move the article yet because it's the primary topic at this point. Red Slash 21:44, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, surprisingly "chromatics are" in Google Books picks up too many entries such as Winslow Yerxa Blues Harmonica For Dummies 2012 Page 23 "Positions: Chromatics are designed to play in all keys on one harmonica," ...so the plural naturally should redirect to the dab. The band are notable but not that notable and in Google Books appear a lot as The Chromatics (incorrectly). Also the 1980s computer company Chromatics looks notable for an article, good luck with that. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:41, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support "chromatics" should point to the disambiguation page -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 04:24, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support independent move of the band article to disambiguated namespace. Of course, there seems to be an underlying assumption that the company article will move into the liberated space, but I would contest that. The proposer should be thinking more along the lines of 'Chromatics (company)', or as Red Slash suggests above. -- Ohc ¡digame!¿que pasa? 08:31, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • So, I'm not entirely sure what happens next. I've created the article Chromatics (graphics) and would like to complete the move of this article, Chromatics, to Chromatics_(band). Are we in agreement that this is OK? And, I would then add Chromatics_(band) to the page Chromatic (disambiguation). But does there need to be a new page, Chromatics, which points to that disambiguation page? Thanks for the assistance. Rdb112 (talk) 13:31, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
