Taboo in Imperial Diet[edit]

Gag rule links here, but that article is about restrictions on debate in legislatures. Is there, in fact, a taboo in the Imperial Diet (I'd be surprised if the answer was no), and is there a formal rule forbidding discussion of the Emperor and the imperial system? Words missing?[edit]

"broadcast media tended to refrain from having entertainment programs voluntarily" -- this makes no sense as it stands. Are some words missing? 2.24.116.221 (talk) 03:13, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
