Hi all. In the Overview section of the page, it reads: For 1994, the model range underwent a mid-cycle revision, primarily intended to comply with 1998 upgrades to US federal safety standards for cars (although the entire model range was officially considered a light truck). Are we certain that is correct? Considering the changes were for 1994 and the regulations passed in 1998, during the run of the 3rd generation? Thank-you!

Actually, things are correct, but it might need to be explained a bit. The changes were introduced for 1994 to comply with safety standards that were going into effect in 1998. (Chrysler wanted to comply 4 years ahead of time) --SteveCof00 (talk) 09:10, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
