Article needs cleanup[edit]

This article could stand to be organized a bit more, and definitely needs to be more thorough. It is very random, and kind of confusing. Unfortunately, I'm not really an expert on the subject, so I've added a couple flags, including a reference to Wikiproject: Arthropods. Discuss! Gitman 18:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Section on Native American Folklore moved here[edit]

This section recently added does not seem well developed enough to actually be present in the article:

See the story {source unknown} whereby Man was taught by an Earthly diety to string-together the Cicada and Raven for the purpose forcing them two to speak with Man regarding {subjects unknown}. ^[1]
