Probhibtion of burial in church land[edit]

The article claims (with no citation!!) that the Catholic Church prohibited burial of unbaptised on church land. This is a misleading statement. Cillín are an Irish phenomenon, rather than a global phenomenon. If it was a rule they would be all over the world. You sometimes see evidence of Cillín abroad in medieval reports eg. France and UK but not so many. It seems instead prohibitions on burial in church lands was something that varied according to locality. Aerchasúr (talk) 17:50, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
