According to the above, Wikipedia provides subject's age as 41, where her correct age is 48 according to the NY Post. As of 2010-07-20^[update] this appears only in the print copy and not online. patsw (talk) 12:40, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article subject has published a birthdate of 1969, which is generally more consistent with the other reported details of her bio. The only source for the earlier claimed birthdate is imdb, which is notoriously unreliable on bio details. As for the Post, the fact that a claim has been removed from the online edition is a signal it failed fact-checking. And there's a rather nasty, determined effort underway from an obvious sock to edit the aticle to characterize the subject as dishonest -- probably by apartisan of the other site in the business dispute cited by the Post. Date of birth removed per WP:BLP, as it is contentious and no reliable source has been cited for either side. For what the internet says, see 1961, 1969, but this is not conclusive. Issue of Date of Birth[edit]

Cindy Guyer was born in 1961 not 1968 and this is well known information. It does women a disservice when they are forced to and believe that it benefits them to lie about their age. Also I agree up with Cindy Guyer and know a lot about her life and parents. First of all PR lies or to put it a little lighter, they definitely exaggerate, Cindy at 16-17 was certainly not a full 5ft,6. And she definitely stopped growing at that point, even before then. She ate barely anything and was extremely narcissistic and vain, her parents doted on her endlessly. Before my wedding, I was only one year older than her this was in 1978, she said something so nasty, a very belittling put down! Her parents had set Cindy up for a meeting with Wilhelmina Cooper to take a look at her and see what she could do. I just want to state that the meeting with her first agent may not be totally factual, but as I followed her through the years I noticed that facts always seem to change about the meeting of her first agent. Her age, the story would change. I’m not meaning to hurt her feelings.
