Proposed Merger[edit]

  • Comment: This would probably be better merged into Hazelwood Park, Adelaide than the city of Burnside article. Even tho I created the article i'm not sure how much content there is about the Centre specifically. ...maelgwntalk 13:28, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see no reason why it can't be mentioned in both. I suggested a merger because I think it's a fair bet it'd end up on AfD otherwise. --cj | talk 13:57, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
yeah good point. I think I was envisaging a significant history section that would be more suited to the park article. ...maelgwntalk 00:52, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It will be mentioned in both but I'm going to be writing on the history of the swimming centre, preferably in the article itself. The political debacle to get it constructed is quite a story! michael talk 07:00, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The centre isn't notable enough to warrant an article. The centre and the local politics surrounding it could be discussed in this article.--cj | talk 05:24, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'd rather discuss them in the Hazelwood Park, Adelaide article than anything else michael talk 06:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've redirected the swimming center article to the Hazelwood Park one. When I finish this page, it will get an entry - but not yet. michael talk 05:45, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
