Speedy deletion tag[edit]

This article has been suggested for deletion. This article is a well known Video sharing service based in Colombia with technology compared to youtube or metacafe. Even lesser known articles on video sharing are still on Wikipedia. This particular video sharing service is highly notable as the only one in Colombia. I do request for this tag to be removed. Thanks--Camilo Sanchez (talk) 21:29, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since you are making a claim of notability I will remove the speedy deletion tag. But can you provide some WP:RS to support the claims of notability? ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 21:37, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Suggestion received. Thanks--Camilo Sanchez (talk) 21:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Since I haven't seen any additions of WP:RS, and I can't seem to find any, I have gone ahead and started an AfD discussion. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 16:05, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have responded to your deletion tag here. The notability of this article has been clearly stated before. This article is notable as the only video sharing service in Colombia.--Camilo Sanchez (talk) 16:10, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please provide some WP:RS that state so. Claims of notability must be backed up by reliable sources.ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 16:14, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I am providing a series of reliable sources about this website. Colombia at the present time has not evolved an internet culture compared to developed countries, therefore Citytv.com.co and its owners have developed a monopolistic media in Colombia, rendering this particular website as the only video sharing website in Colombia. Please remove the deletion tag. Thanks--Camilo Sanchez (talk) 16:36, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding the citations. I have requested removal of the AfD on the AfD page now. Thank you. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 18:04, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
