Title of this article[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization), I believe the title of this article needs changing to not show capitalization throughout. Also should this title include the term "list"? Jooojay (talk) 21:17, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction paragraph[edit]

In the sentence "Civic technology encompasses any type of technology that enables greater participation in government affairs, or 'assists government in delivering citizen services and strengthening ties with the public'", there should not be a comma before the word "or" because it is not followed by an independent clause. The sentence should also be modified to read "assists the government" instead of "assists government". Randomize64 (talk) 14:43, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I plan on adding new civic tech companies to this article with descriptions for each of them to give the reader a better sence of the current state of civic tech companies. My bibliography is provided below:

Civic Technology Article Evaluation[edit]

The first paragraph uses the word Civic technology and Government technology to highlight the difference between the two, it seems that this is unnecessary to be put in the first introductory paragraph itself. Suggestion: maybe you could add another section on government technology vs civic technology.

In the second section titled "Categories of these companies", the categories are in sentences whereas they could be in bulet points. Also, the title could be reframed as "categories" instead to reduce repetition.

I like the visual graphic nearing the end of the article, it clearly demonstrates the point you are trying to get across. Overall, I feel the tone is neutral and I feel like the citations are accurate with little to no hint of bias. Civictech (talk) 05:31, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
