Page move[edit]

It has been proposed that Clarence Williams be renamed and moved to Clarence Williams (disambiguation) in order that Clarence Williams be redirected to Clarence Williams III. Based on article traffic tool this is the proper move. Please comment at Talk:Clarence Williams--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 14:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birth dates[edit]

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, The Broadway League's Internet Broadway Database, and the African American Registry, among other sources, gies different birth years for Clarence Williams: 1893 and 1898. Differing birth dates are not uncommon for musicians and actors of the 19th and early 20th centuries, when record-keeping was spottier than now. Short of a birth certificate, we have equally reliable sources saying two different things. It also happens with newer artists: See Lil' Kim or Mick Mars. Choosing one over the other would be POV. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:47, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
