it would be useful to include a more 3d structure. the 2d structure indicates crossed bonds.

I think there is no 3D drawing of Claus benzene because it was obsolete at the point when chemists became interested in the 3D structure of molecules. At the time of Claus the crossing bonds were no problem and the 3D structure was of no concern to him.
