Merge proposal[edit]

There is already an older article at falling film evaporator. This article appears to be describing the same device, although in much greater detail. I would recommend a page merge. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 16:26, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I consider these two evaporator designs sufficiently different to warrant separate articles for better understanding of the differing mechanisms used to maintain the advantages of film evaporation. I suggest the lack of response for three years be interpreted of a lack of support for merging; and I will remove the merger tags. Thewellman (talk) 19:30, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
