Poster

There is no reason to remove the poster. Template:Infobox television documentation says the following: "Typically the image will be the series' title card, although this is not mandated. Free content should be used where available." While he says it is not mandatory to use the series logo. The poster is not bad. Well, he barely has a season. Telenovela format

All sources in Spanish credit the series as a telenovela. Although it is a US production, that does not remove the format that was initially given. It should be taken into account that it was first broadcast in Latin America in telenovela format. Something similar happens with Telemundo productions, some are filmed entirely in the United States, but are created in telenovela format.--—  Bradford  (Talk) 00:29, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

I edit this page since June, and I was trying to compromise to put all formats/genres in the info box but just say television series in 1st paragraph. I know some LA sources say it is telenovela format, but it is also some other genres and it is not in telenovela airing format in other countries. I looked at MOSTV and it says a majority of sources must say the genre for it to be included. I still support keeping Telenovela in info box, but Since it is a TV series no matter what, we should use that as the noun in the 1st sentence, and not telenovela. In English unfortunately a telenovela, it is a TV series. Since it is not common for Americans. But this series was made in telenovela format and in Spanish. Mostly English sources will never consider it a telenovela, but it should be taken into account as considered in its first broadcast. In this case it was for all of Latin America. I see, and I don’t want to remove any of the genres/formats, only have the 1st sentence say that it is a TV series. We can keep the formats and genres in the info box, and talk about them somewhere else, but I don’t think we should say the multiple genres and formats in the 1st sentence. Especially since it’s not aired in telenovela format in some countries, and how not all sources say it is one. And also, saying television series on English Wikipedia for first sentence is most understandable to English speakers, then explaining later helps. The same could be said of the current telenovelas that Televisa and Telemundo produce, in some countries they are series, but that is not why their original genre should be removed and only included in the infobox. Nickelodeon Latin America has been broadcasting telenovelas for years, in the United States some sources credit the series as "telenovela". And you can't use Wikipedia in Spanish, for support or as a reference, since it's another wiki and they have different rules.--—  Bradford  (Talk) 05:37, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

I’m just talking about this page, which is different because it is many genres. It is just a lot clearer to say what the show is (TV series) in the 1st sentence, instead of something that a majority of sources don’t call it, and a format that multiple of its airing countries don’t use.
