Designer of Original Ottawa Coat of Arms[edit]

I noticed that the designer for the Ottawa coat of arms cites John Henry Walker as the original designer, I have read that it was actually Colonel George Hay, here are a few links that make this claim. I believe John Henry Walker did indeed engrave the Coat of Arms in the photograph, but I believe it was George Hay who came up with the original design, please see the following:
