Bible, or Book[edit]

On the centre of the cross is a closed book with its spine horizontal and with clasps and decoration, the clasps pointing downward.

Emphasis supplied. Pretty sure that the actual blazon refers to a bible, not generically a book:

Gules, on a cross ermine between four lions passant guardant Or, a Bible lying fesseways of the field, clasped and garnished of the third, the clasps in base.

Emphasis supplied. Shouldn't the readers be told of this, before being made further aware of the non-religious stance of the current U of C Communications team? Mornington (talk) 15:11, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

As an article about a coat of arms, this one would be considerably better if it contained the actual blazon. --145.226.30.43 (talk) 13:44, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
