POV[edit]

This article is full of unreferenced assertions such as "The performance is meant to make us question how much is too much information, and whether the increase in technological development in contemporary society is a good thing or a bad thing." Ty 15:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not be deleted. She is a noteworthy artist with numerous works. If you absolutely must, do not delete, but instead remove the details to Select Performances and Collaborative Works section.—Preceding unsigned comment added by JNG (talkcontribs) 23 April, 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.90.218.115 (talk)
While I make no assumptions about her work, mere productivity does not create notability. If she is notable, where is the properly cited evidence from reliable sources? --Orange Mike | Talk 21:52, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have not the time to edit the article, but a quick Google search of her name will verify her importance - conversations at MoMA, inclusion in the most recent Whitney Biennial, and a number of important books she has written or edited. As an art historian and curator, I can assure you that this article is worth keeping on Wikipedia, with revisions for content. I would advise that the article be edited, but certainly not deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adgyorody (talkcontribs) 19:20, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article relies too heavily upon the information provided from Coco Fusco's own artist website, and that of Grey Associates, to be considered neutral [[[User:Ppers 7|Ppers 7]] (talk) 00:28, 15 October 2016 (UTC)][reply]

I've added information about the artist's body of work, with a significant number of proper references, and removed the unreferenced/non-neutral descriptions of performance pieces. I think this should resolve the majority of the neutrality and notability issues. Catemcc (talk) 02:00, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article is still full of unreferenced assertions and should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:8103:EF00:9D18:DDAB:A050:400A (talk) 16:47, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Switching template[edit]

Hi all, I think the key thing that this article needs is citations. The problem isn't factual accuracy, it is citations. As someone with subject area expertise, I can assure you that Coco Fusco meets notability requirements. I would strongly discourage you from pursuing the notability question here. But I agree: needs citations. I would like to switch the template from accuracy to citations. I will do so if I don't hear any objections. --Theredproject (talk) 18:51, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi all, I added factual information, corrected broken links, updated page to current day, and added citations and quotes from the artist. As an expert in this subject area, I must assure everyone that this artist/writer/curator is ver4y well-respected and influential in our field and should not be deleted. Certainly more can be done and I will continue to try and make improvements. --Ajenik (talk) 23:17, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all, based on the citations that were added to this article, I have removed the "factual accuracy" warning from the page. --Mesquitetree (talk) 00:09, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
