This article needs redone[edit]

This article, in short, is a disaster. It needs completely redone. It sounds like a preview with the question at the end. It also doesn't summarize the book in good detail or list its publishing date. Obviously a newbie misktake. Maybe we should delete this article and try again. --Oh no! it's Alien joe!(Talk) 22:57, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried to fix it up from some earlier vandalism. It's now slightly better, and it actually summarises the plot of the book. Graham87 00:12, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Declined PROD[edit]

I've declined the PROD as I'm finding some coverage as well as a lot of evidence to show that this is fairly heavily used in classrooms. If this should be deleted, it should be through AfD. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:08, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Tokyogirl79: Great work! Honestly when I read the notice that this article was being proposed for deletion, I thought "Yay! A vandal magnet on my watchlist will probably be deleted!", but the fact that this page has been vandalized so much is an indication of how widely the book is used, and an improved article is orders of magnitude better than a deleted one. • I didn't even think about the vandalism aspect- I've noted that with books like the Wimpy Kid series, but I never really connected vandalism with how often a book is used in classrooms. I'll have to store that away in my mental cache of information I save for potential school papers. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:42, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
