Better title?[edit]

Considering the fact that Newfoundland is an island in the political entity of Newfoundland and Labrador , a better title for the article would probably be Coins of Newfoundland and Labrador. This page should probably be moved there. --Gurubrahma 16:20, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, we'll see about it. THNX :) Joe I 22:53, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

at the time when Newfoundland had its own coins wasn't it called the Republic of Newfoundland. Labrador was a part of Newfoundland until Newfoundland joined Canada. The title seems fine to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.165.94.77 (talk) 02:09, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Yes it was 142 and that is the name on the coins, and that is what the name should be. Enlil Ninlil (talk) 02:19, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conversion to list?[edit]

Would there be any serious objection to converting this article into a list, with the intention of trying to get it to Feature List status? I propose this because I believe I can provide a complete type set of better than average images.--Godot13 (talk) 02:21, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Shouldn't the title be "Coins of Newfoundland"? This article also deals with pre-decimal tokens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxime Laterreur (talkcontribs) 18:21, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
