"Like most ducted fan designs"...[edit]

I edited out a comment which described 'ducted fan designs' as being tailsitters (like the colepters) because it struck me as rather wrong. The most commonly recognized use for ducted fans usually involves blimps (because the duct protects ground crew,) or the EDF, as used for model aircraft (because they're small and easily enable visual and acoustic aesthetics involved in modeling jet aircraft). alternatively, arguable, the most common use of DF design would be in a turbofan jet engine. (where the 'fan' is a DF, powered by the gas turbine, usually the fan producing the bulk of thrust.)regards...Sorican. 11:42, 9 August 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sorican (talkcontribs)

Redirected from Hiller VXT-8[edit]

Today I added a REDIRECT from the Hiller VXT-8 page. That page wasn't strong enough to stand alone. Elwood P. Dowd (talk) 07:08, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
