As parliamentary procedure[edit]

Various legislatures have rules regarding how members may speak of members, debates, and actions of coordinate houses (in a bicameral system) or other branches of government, and these are often referred to as rules of comity or "comity between the Houses". These rules might include, for example, using circumlocutions such as "another place" or "the other body", or identifying members of the other house by title rather than by name. 207.180.169.36 (talk) 02:59, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mistaken redirect[edit]

Comity is far from being equal to comitas gentium (international courtesy, wd|Q9195595). The redirect should be deleted.Szilas (talk) 06:19, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
