proposal sports (Cricket 20)[edit]

has there ever been sports proposed for the commonweath games, like cricket 20, if there has, I'd love to see it on the page please. --74.237.54.62 (talk) 04:42, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

cricket has only been part of the program once in 1998, see here --Crictv69 (talk) 11:57, 8 September 2010 (UTC) this to in form you that the gamesa of tyhe . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.94.106.6 (talk) 13:22, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But why it couldn't be on the table? There could be an explanation on the column 'Type'. And why there is a checkmark on Water polo at 2002 & 2006 Games? That should mean it was contested at those games, or what does it mean? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.141.94.241 (talk) 22:01, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't the cricket tournament in the commonweath games in 1998, which had MEDALS awarded, inculde on this page????--69.180.37.180 (talk) 20:13, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sports, disciplines and events[edit]

This article contradicts itself a number of times. The section "Sports, disciplines, events" defines the terminology but the rest of the article (such as the sections "Types" and "Approved sports") indiscriminately refers to disciplines as sports. waterpolo[edit]

waterpolo was (according to this) only played in 1950 so the table on this page appears incorrect. The results according to that site were to gold to australia, silver to new zealand, but it doesn't list a bronze medal - so perhaps it is an incomplete list ?
